89,7xx as of tonight.

Hpfp blew up at around 82k. VW paid for it and I had a loaner for a couple of days.

Glow plug replaced a month ago around 86k.

Flapper motor on intake threw a code at the same time as glow plug. Dealer wanted $980. I bought a fix from Dieselgeek for $64.

I’ve had the car since 42k and around 3 years. Replaced tires in 2015 and will need brakes soon.

Is the third pedal the emergency brake? It’s probably the emergency brake.

LOL no. I have a traditional hand lever. It works alright.

What are your plans to catch up?

Occasionally I think the same, but then I see the car in profile and think, “nevermind”.

I had an 08 rabbit that lasted over 125k until it was totaled. The only major thing I had to do was replace a cooling fan, and that wasn’t difficult. The straight 5 served me well, and would have continued to do so for many more miles.

Well hopefully the market has your line of thinking when it's time to sell it. Doesn't look too hot right now.

So how much money did jkm give you to buy this thing? AND DON’T THINK WE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOUR SCHEME TO CONVERT ALL OF OPPO TO VW JKM, BECAUSE WE DO AND WE’RE NOT FALLING FOR IT

Do I see new wheels in your future?

Has the Dieselgate thing turned you off of Volkswagen or has it done nothing at all?

Could you kindly quit polluting all over my beautiful state of New Jersey?

I can do that if you purchase a replacement vehicle to my standards.

I'll stick to the pollution in that case, thank you.

No new wheels at this time but what I really want is an e46 330i ZHP.

DieselGate hasn’t really done much in my eyes. The worst would be if whatever fix they have shortens the life of all the expensive emissions components. I'm still holding off judgement until the conclusion.

Had a 1984 Turbodiesel Jetta - clutch released near the top and was a bit grabby. I guessing that’s changed?

This one releases about halfway through. Not too grabby. Its a pretty light pedal. A little numb but not too bad. It’s a very easy clutch to DD.

Yeah, mine was a light pedal as well ... and Ray Magliozzi said VW clutches are bulletproof, yet I needed one at 80K. I think I drove it a bit hard.

Only the rear hatch lock (it would sometimes work, othertimes not) at 35k miles, other than that nothing has gone wrong!

That's good news. I've seen a lot of other ones with over 130k with no problems. You should be good!
